George!!!!

I've seen George enjoying himself the other morning... sitting IN our toilet at 6am!!!

And what you don't know yet: mummy's little George is already grown up... About 4cm big..

I went to buy some baits and spray for him to make his life harder (or hopefully end it), sorry for that ;)

Otherwise everythings OK here.. I miss you already. No noise until 5am.. :)

Hope you have a great time at IC!

mummmys girl!!!!!!!

soooooo proud!

for Jackso....

Bless my computer

Every night I lie in bed,
This little prayer inside my head.
God bless all those I hold so dear,
And keep them safe thru coming year,
And God, there’s just one more thing
I wish you would do.
If you don’t mind my asking,
To bless my computer to?

Now I know that it’s not normal
To bless a small machine,
But listen just a second,
and I’ll try to explain …
You see, this little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends.
Inside those small components
Rest a hundred loving friends.

Some, it’s true, I’ve never seen,
And most I’ve never met.
We’ve never shaken hands or
Even hugged, and yet …
I know for sure they love me,
By the kindnesses they give.
And this little scrap of metal
Is how I get to where they live.
By faith if how I know them,

Much as same as I know you.
I share in life it brings them
So if it’s ok with you …
Just take an extra minute
From your duties up above …
To bless this little hunk of steel
That’s filled with so much love.

irresistable

This course description is really...
How can I resist it?!
(Background info: I'm a politics major and I have nothing to do with business courses in my cirriculum.)

BUSI0029A:
Human resource management and business strategy

Semester:1Year: 3

This course adopts a strategic perspective on human resource management. It focuses on designing the systems and processes that attract, utilize, reward, and develop human resources for the achievement of organizational goals. Conceptually, it builds on the theories on human behavior and network organization covered in the course on Organizational Behavior. Case studies, discussions, and experiential exercises will be utilized extensively for teaching purposes. The course is suitable for executives who have to manage people as a substantial component of their work and human resource managers who have to participate in the senior management team to design and to implement corporate strategies.

new experience

Yesterday was my most frustrating day since I have been MC. This is the first time I see the cruel fact that no matter how much you do, how much you pay, how much you care, it will turns out to be mothing if you fail to lead and manage.

Luckily my teammates hsare my frustration. No. We don't just share frustration. We turned it into energy. And last night was the moment of synergy that I have not seen since long time ago.

Fantastic Team Dinner!

Thanks Ricky for the team dinner. And welcome Anika on abroad!! And we are waiting for beach party on Saturday and Mindy's buffet. Yeah!

The bottom line is......

Hot 'chalenge your worldview' discussion during busride to teamdinner: finally finding our that Gary is not cherishing his teammates: Garys opinion: Andi is bottom line, jacso is minimum standart while noone can compete against with Ms. "Crystal Wang" ... and noone at all can compete with his mom..in europe we call that a 'pascha'...
Gary Gary Gary..... you will suffer during IC...trust us!!!!!

MC Rocks: Ricky for AI!

In the past 2-month, after witnessing our mates got selected to join Global Teams one by one, I am very proud to say this is the best year I come across in my AIESEC life. This is an MC team composed of a curious mixture of diversity, excellence, intelligence, fun, passion and energy. Everyone in team is having extremely strong drive to change the status quo and always bring in very innovative perspectives.

Also, the MC appartment is a very cool place to cultivate the culture of celebration. Mates, try to remember what happened when we received that letter (you must know what I mean!) and got the news Ricky got selected in Global Alumni Support Team, we could not stand screaming loudly and cheering for the team. It seems everyday is full of excitement.

Tonight, we are going to have Team Dinner for welcoming our German CEEDEer, Anika, and celebrating with Ricky.

In order to thank Ricky's kindness of paying us a big meal, I am here to post his lovely pic.

Ricky, Heading for AIESEC International!

AI is coming closer and closer !

congratulations for soooooooo many people from Hong Kong's MC going for further challenges:
Maggi rocking as Country Coach and also with Alvin, Hong and Agnes as Learning network Moderator... Crystal in PDU.... Mindy in XQB and now finally our beloved Ricky in GAST!!! What a great team!!!!!!!

Yeah!!! It feels great!

Tonight teamdinner to celebrate!!!!!!!

AIESEC in HONG KONG 05/06 - Year of Excellence

What a great night after 10-hour work in the office.

Tonight, Andi, Bomi, Jacso, Ron and I, planned to go the well-known partying hotspot, Lan Kwai Fong, to have drinks. One amazing thing happened was Andi, Bomi and I, three people from different countries, made a "Let's Get it Started" AIESEC Dance in the pub. Of course, as you may all know, I am always a loser in dancing field. :( On the other hand, I realized an African is always born to be a dancer!

The team gathering is forever the part I treasure the most, as I can totally forget everything about strategies, team management, meetings, etc. We simply act as ourselves and talk whatever we like. Bomi, our team day driver, hope you can bring us more excitement to the upcoming team day.

Our term kicked off on 17/7 with an extremely busy schedule, say team planning and core strategies driving. And I was contributing myself to various "important" roles, guess what they are, and overwhelmed by tons of issues that driving me crazily. But, when I sit down, and reflect a bit, I saw my MC term 05/06 as the most invaluable one, especially having experience in living with and managing such a diverse team, putting different small pieces of thoughts into a big piece and going to AI Office developing the strategic agenda setting for AIESEC 2010 together with another top 11 AIESEC leaders around the world.

I believe my mates are having their own fantastic experience as well.

MC Scoreboard 05/06 has finalized. It is a stretching, but realistic one. Really hope everything can be completely achieved and have a year turnaround.

Got excited about team day & team learning chat.

Gary
